Thessaloniki international book fair was held on May 8-11, by the name Europe- identity and diversity.
After the official opening, Serbian Consuls S. Pavic and S. Todorovic-Kolundzija introduced Thessaloniki Mayor Boutaris with the Serbian stand, where not many, but selected pieces were presented, usually both in Serbian and English or Serbian and French.


  Furthermore, during the Book Fair Mr. M. Veskovic, Head of department for international cooperation in Serbian Ministry of Culture and Mr. D. Puresic, Head of publishing department of Serbian National Library presented an exposition catalog Serbian Literature during the First World War ant the University of Macedonia.
Apart from Serbia, Serbian language and Serbian literature were presented as well by Republika Srpska. They had their own stand and participated in poetry reading and their University of Banja Luka professor gave a lecture at the University of Macedonia.
